February 13, 2013 - Oak is fully integrated at this stage, so that the variety's floral and peachy aromatics are dominant with the oak adding complexity and flesh. Nicely balanced and readily enjoyable but I guess iy will keep evolving niceli for another 5 years.

November 30, 2012 - Totally different from the barrel sample. Dilute with no fruit definition and un-balanced. A big disappointment. (***)

May 28, 2012 - Lemony in color. First thing to notice on the nose is oak but use is subtle. Also herbal and herbaceouss nuances, thyme, mint and citrus fruit. Medium + body with flavors of medium intensity of rose petal and lime zest. Very enjoyable. Well made wine.

May 24, 2012 - Malagouzia Wine Tasting (Le Petit Sommelier Restaurant, Athens, Greece): Medium yellow-green. Intense toast, floral aromas, peach and some herbal scents. Med+ bodied, mouthfilling, with generous fruit and balancing acidity. Long, persistant aftertaste. Will improve after 1 year or so of cellaring. A very interesting oaked version of malagouzia.

May 23, 2012 - Malagouzia tasing @ Le Petit Sommelier. Light lemon. Smoked lemons sounds crazy, I know but Thais what I get first off. Then slight spice (mainly pepper) with some herbs thrown in. Oak is very evident on the palate - reminds me of an oaked Sauvignon Blanc on acid. Vanilla and sligh buttery feel on the palate. Medium body, medium - acidity. Good finish although I get a slight disconnect between the nose and the palate.
