June 5, 2021 - A private lunch (Restaurant 212 **, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of 2/3 grape juice and 1/3 vieux Marc aged in barrique for two years. Multi-vintage: 58% 2016, 24% 2014, 12% 2013, 6% 2011. Bottled 9 November 2019, 18% ABV. Marvellously rich and honeyed, fresh and juicy, nutty, delightful yeasty intensity, delicately sweet, peppery finish, very good resonance and length.

September 29, 2020 - One of the better macvin I've had. Though I always find a very strong crushed vitamin note on the nose. Nice balance, body and finish.

February 8, 2020 - Blind at a BYOB
Well, this was impossible to place blind. Delicious stuff though! Smells like a dry sherry with salt, nuts and hints of pine. On the palate surprisingly sweet and very intense. Spice, light wood, sweet fruit, nuts. -

A bit oxidated for my palate. typical oxidation notes but really dry and focused. Great with Food but difficult to empty one bottle alone. Nuts, dried figs and Dates. 90
