Community Tasting Notes 12

September 17, 2015 - Aroma is sharply sour right out of the bottle, with little fruit. It loses the sour note pretty quickly, and picks up some heat as it opens. The flavor is interesting, with a sharp crisp note, some light fruit that takes a backseat, and a good finish. While the flavor has a sharp, slightly spicy note, this is not sharp on the tongue. Tasted at about 73°F.

January 27, 2014 - Light yellow. A hint of pear and citrus on the nose. Light and dry citrus palette with a sour apple finish.

July 7, 2013 - This is a bit muted, not too interesting, has a neutral wood / cork (not "corked") taste. Merely OK and not a good value.

June 23, 2013 - Restaurant purchase. Nice body with refreshing acidity that stood up to two creme heavy seafood dishes. QPR+. Rebuy: yes.

April 17, 2013 - Very marsanne. Lots of texture, low aromatics. Powerful.
