  August 5, 2012 - A wonderful Russian River chardonnay, made in a Chablis style.
  
  A Dijon clone of Chardonnay, from estate vineyard. The wine is fermented and aged in 100% stainless.
  After tasting, I would have guessed some fermentation or elevage (aging) in neutral oak barrels,
  based on the texture, mouth feel, a credit to the quality, as stainless chardonnay can be very bland and sterile
  not vinified with care.
  
  To the Eye: Golden yellow color, with a slight green tinge at edge.
  On The Nose: Green apple, pear, melon
  In The Mouth: Both lush and bright. The fruit really stands out, like biting into a ripe fruit. The wine is fermented dry, but the juicy,ripe fruit might fool you, especially if overchilled. The rich full mouth is enhanced by crisp mouth watering acid, that when combined produce a pleasing combination that just begs for some food.
  
  The wine is crisp enough to match with oysters, salad, grilled veggies, but lush and structured enough to stand up to chicken, pasta, and Dungeness Crab.
  
  14.2% alc, .69 TA, 3.3 pH
