  March 23, 2015 - This was just fantastic - good dark fruit w/ herbal, mint & spice notes, smooth tannins. A great food wine.

  January 25, 2013 - Aromas of sweet dark fruits, cassis, smoke, and vanilla. This is full bodied, with ripe, pure dark berry fruit accented by notes of cedar and warm brown spices. The medium length finish carries surprising freshness, but later yields to a bit of alcohol bite. This is a very modern styled cab france, and is missing some of the earthen, savory tones that we enjoy. R&M85

  September 28, 2012 - First sip -- wonderfully soft. Tannins held back (due to the tough year) make this very easy drinking.

  August 6, 2012 - Doesn't have the gritty dirty mouthfeel that a lot of VA cab francs have. A bit hot now but looking forward to seeing how it rounds out tomorrow. Glad I have more to sit for a few more months to settle down.
