June 22, 2006 - Smell of peanut on the cork...intuitively knew this wine had promise. Nice body and mouth feel, great vinosity. Strange sweet 'tactile' snesation on tip of tongue with a lenghty finish of sour apples. Mid palate brings out some of the oakyness and body this wine delivers with out going over the top. Perfect for savory fish dinners but could overpower it if it were too bland. Great value.
