August 1, 2023 - Sweet & unctuous, with complex flavours of honey, barley sugar, toffee, plus added lemon and spice followed by a fine and long lasting finish. Impressive. CHP 93 pts

April 28, 2023 - Fully developed and mature bouquet with notes of botrytis. On the palate it revealed flavours of honey, grilled almonds, vanilla and barley sugar. Although unctuous and sweet it was kept in check by some refreshing acidity. Really classy with a splendid length of finish. Approaching its peak this was utterly delicious. CHP 94 pts

April 5, 2023 - Lovely flavour. Lacking a bit of acid drive but enjoyable nevertheless. Developed in the glass, ethereal and complex. I love thes wines, maybe the greatest expression of the apparently simple grape.

September 8, 2022 - Almost a flavour overload with textbook characters of barley sugar, botrytis, apricot, spice and pepper. The honeyed sweetness is mollified by freshness and acidity and on the finish there is a kick of grilled almonds. The finish is sublime and lingering and this is now drinking at its peak. A beautiful Sauternes. CHP 94 pts
