September 6, 2015 - Blind tasting of Grand Cercle wines 2011 vintage: Part II (Château Bellefont-Belcier): One of my top 2011s tasted blind over the weekend. Red brambly fruit with slightly oak derived aromatics of vanilla lead to a palate with depth and weight, medium plus body with high tannin. The finish is not so austere as one may expect – and in fact the wine has much potential. Bravo.

April 24, 2012 - With 5% Cabernet Franc and 95% Merlot, the wine offers coffee, oak, black cherry and vanilla. With medium body and soft cherries, this should drink well early. 88-89 Pts
