March 31, 2024 - It’s starting the drinking window. Quite round but not as aspected.
Quite strong 14.5 alcohol. Better to wait 4/5 years for the next bottle

January 7, 2024 - blend of 78% Merlot, and 22% Cabernet Franc, this wine is concentrated with a lot of berries and floral aroma with good oak. Medium body with long finishing. Decanted for 2 hours which is required.

July 16, 2023 - Meaty, soy bean sauce, truffle, violet, dried longan, musk, wet dirt, sweet spice finish. Seems developing a little fast than expected, so does the high alcohol, but still in good balance. I find my palate is evolving and moving away from such wines.

March 23, 2023 - Decanted for two hours prior to drinking. On the nose, creosote, mushroom, char. To the palate, Christmas spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, along with earth and cool smoke. Medium acidity, low tannin, wood integrated. Enjoyed with roast lamb and risotto with dark gravy - a perfect combination to help extol the positives of this wine, and apparently this particular bottle. Ready now. Advise decanting first. Another winner from 2011.
