Community Tasting Notes 15

  • Macdog Likes this wine:

July 28, 2021 - Wonderful. Like so many 2011 drinking superbly but will hold and improve.

February 10, 2021 - Resolved but without much added complexity from age. But good winemaking and selection seem to force some ripeness and roundness in fruit thru, although tannins are far from silky. Vintage issue with the '11s (only VCC seemed to overcome it superbly of the right banks I've tasted). Drinkable

November 7, 2020 - Medium body. Round, well integrated tannins with juicy palate. Great wine for the price point. Drinking beautifully now and several years into the future.

January 6, 2019 - Decanted for 2 hours. Dark berries and cherries, some tobacco leafs and green herbs. Nicely integrated tannins and a good structure. Medium-long finish. In perfect drinking condition right now.
