  May 10, 2013 - Medium priced wine at 26$ CAN. A rich and slightly complex example of a malbec soaked in oak barrels.
  
  I do like this for the style and what a lot of folks will like with some rich food. Nose and body match - dark rich fruit on nose with that oak quality. Palate is full boded, light in acid and tannin, and has dark fruit. Is pushing the balance with the dark and mature fruit. Comes over as a balanced wine that will hold for 2+ yrs at least. May mellow over next yr, but think this at peak. Buy now and drink over till 2015.

Good representation of Malbec and if you like that cool, smooth, chocolate berry profile backed by enough structure to finish nicely and not too sweet then this has it. Seems to be drinking well right now and will likely improve over the next year or two. Pretty suave for a cheapie. Recommended.
