April 28, 2019 - This needs a 30 minute decant as at first it’s a bit awkward. The color is light to moderate yellow. Very nice interesting nose of pomelo, white flowers, and lychee. The palate has light wax, pomelo and mineral flavors coming through. This wine probably is a bit of an acquired taste. There isnt a lot of structure here and it feels pretty mature but it is wine which is interesting and unique.

October 2, 2017 - Terroir-istes International - France, Loire Whites (Groot Constantia): (Tasted Blind): Tertiary elements with deep, riper fruits but also showing asparagus. The palate is rich with excellent concentration (older vines?), real purpose, and is relatively complex. Round with impressive length and depth of flavour, this is a smart wine that is starting to lose its fruit and needs drinking. Closes with sweaty notes, asparagus, cat's pee and empty apple bin where rot lurks.

August 30, 2014 - Refined wine that does a great job of hiding its Sb-character and small age. Feels much younger than it is and the great qualities show off themselves with grande finesse. I agree that this is an intellectual wine.
    Not your typical Pouilly-Fumé.
Should age well and effortlessly for at least 10 more years. Really wish I had some more of this rather expensive juice.
    At Vintomas place.

June 6, 2014 - Beautiful appearance, lively green-tinged white gold, with an almost fluorescent intensity; the nose is impressively deep and subtle, with complex aromas of lemon and white fruit, hints of honey and truffle, a slight vegetal note and a piercing, salty, smoky, flinty minerality, very harmonious; the palate is energetic yet gentle, silky and salty, has immaculate balance, is elegant and seamless yet linear and precise, with intense yet subtle flavours; very good length. In a beautiful place right now, should last until 2020 with ease.

May 9, 2014 - Sauvignon Blanc tasting (Riga): Less intense and in-your-face nose than NZers. But it grows into a very nuanced, detailed, quite light bouquet of florals, light pineapple, lime, lemon, hard candy. Gooseberies on the finish. Round, complex, intelectual, interesting wine. (A-)
