March 18, 2016 - Very, very jammy. Tina liked it more than I did. Took it to Pistola. Would drink it again, but it's no Turley.

November 7, 2015 - Good but not great. Much better on night 2; fruit forward, less heat.

September 28, 2014 - I am embarrassed to say that there was a time when I thought this was what a good wine should taste like. As I taste it now all I can think of is alcoholic jam... There is nothing "wrong" with this wine, but there is nothing that recommends it either. It lacks any depth, interest or finish - it is just flat.

May 10, 2014 - - Fast forming legs and aromas of cherry, strawberry jam and black currant. It's high in alcohol and has flavours of prune, mushroom and alcohol. Juicy texture - Have to agree that it is very hot right out of the bottle upon test taste. Swirl showed heavy legs. Decided to let it breathe and decant for a few minutes and this helped so I could pour a full glass. This helped a lot although the nose was still overpowered by alcohol. Full fruit forward next, cherries, berries, NyQuil comes to mind. It must be this vintage, as I tried the 2011 with pleasure. I had to laugh at the previous comments before I opened my bottle and thought they must have been exaggerating , but now that I have a glass in hand in read again- well, he has some points. While not the best zin I've had, it is still my style of fruit forward with a punch, although obnoxiously so. Still, although not that balanced, I do like drinking these fruit bombs. I'm now in the mood for a charred juicy BBQ steak w baked beans to go w my drinking. Yum. P.s. If your looking for a happy jammy mind eraser- this is it.
