September 16, 2023 - Needed 20 minutes for funk to blow off — at first thought was flawed with VA. After that a classic Cornas with white pepper, game, animal, leather but still fruit.

March 9, 2023 - During a structured tasting session. Closed, needed a serious decant. This wine had good aromatics but for the fruit it carries the tannins and acidity were a touch too present. Decent, but not top for the vintage. Definitely a food wine.

February 18, 2023 - A fair bit of forest floor upon first opening, but this blossomed in the decanter. Black fruit, game, a bit of blood. Really lovely, nicely mature but with tons of gas left in the tank. Two bottles with very consistent notes.

February 5, 2023 - Monthly Tasting Group: Rhones (Noyes and Cutler, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red color. PNP, drank a glass over an hour. Leathery, red fruits, cherry, charred, minerals, anise, grippy. This really benefitted from the air, not really coming around until the end for me - then showing an emergence of this core of red and black fruit that really had clarity and definition along with the additon of some appealing spice notes on the nose. 91(+?)pts.

February 5, 2023 - Brad's btl at our Sunday night big wine group Rhone dinner at Noyes & Cutler. A perfect Lowertown St Paul venue for our group and theme! Great food, service & roomy! Loved this tonight! This producer is making great Cornas. Tonight's btl is still youthfully vibrant and fresh but tannins are mostly resolved. There's a precision and definition here that speaks to the quality of fruit and hands off style that allows the fruit and site to shine radiantly through. Delighted to have 2 of them myself for further down the road. In its early prime drinking with plenty of stuffing to last.
