March 7, 2024 - Ok, but not great. Some nice red and sweeter fruit on the nose, but pallete is a little rough around the edges - some acidity and dry tannins make for a little puckering. Doubt it will get much better from here. Perhaps this is a poor year, but overall a little disappointing.

January 5, 2024 - 13.5% abv. Clear garnet color, moderate staining of tears. Very pleasant complexity on nose and palate: red fruit, cigar box, leather, pencil lead, forest floor. Very smooth finish, minimal acid or tannin, quite enjoyable!

August 3, 2023 - Dark ruby red with orange rim. Blackcurrant, crushed petals, nuts, cedar and mild spices. Classic claret. Nothing stood out but consistent quality. Still youthful and would cellar well for another decade.
