June 22, 2014 - Ambassade de Bourgogne Redux and Le Petite Verdot, Paris: The nose here also shows freshness and bright acids with the red fruits more raspberry or cranberry than plums, with some spice. Real matière on palate, with some acidity, but relatively soft, almost like secondary development. Good, nice savouriness I liked with a core of smaller red berries and some spice on palate. Not a typical Vosne. Drinking well now, but, obviously, this wine has the stuffing to cellar for 10 years at least.

March 22, 2012 - DIVA Burgundy Tasting; 3/21/2012-3/22/2012 (Maison Champy - Beaune): Wine tasting. Good black and red fruit aromas with classically Vosne spice. Less exciting on the palate today, showing some rustic tannins that get n the way of the high quality fruit and spice. Perhaps this will soften and increase its elegance in another decade.
