January 6, 2018 - Excellent produit, bon tannins bien balancé et arrière bouche sec. Arômes de cuir et prunes

May 27, 2016 - PnD let air for 1h. Dark purple crimson almost saturated with a crimson to clear rim. Effusive nose of cherry soy beef jerky fig anise cola and plum. Medium weight with polished tannins with just the right grip. Bright and fresh flavours that echo the nose plus a little touch of strawberry. Lingering cherry and amaro finish. Nice stuff. Wish I bought more. Underrated by WS. This is what I love in Tuscan wine.

November 30, 2015 - Dense dark blue. Dry, fruity nose, dry on the palate as well, some cocoa, wood, a bit thin.

August 16, 2014 - Medium in any ways.

August 6, 2014 - “Sangiovese-Flight”, in August 2014 (non-blind), Wine 1. The wine was medium to dark ruby in colour and offered cherry, some chocolate, some coffee, leather, tobacco, mushroom and earthy notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed cherry, coffee, a hint of cocoa, leather, some tobacco, mushroom, tea and earthy notes, paired with medium-plus acidity, medium-plus drying tannin and very good length. A medium-bodied Chianti with average complexity and concentration. It seemed sweeter and more developed, less structured and less long-lived than the 2008. Drink now.
