June 17, 2023 - Excellent drinking now. Amazing combination of cassis, blackberry, and black plums. Great structure. A testament to aging Caravan for 15 years before drinking.

December 13, 2022 - This is a peak drinking window. Everything is perfectly aligned, dark red with lots of fruit, tannins are soft and smooth. Just an excellent cab!

November 11, 2022 - Seavey Dinner (bellwether): Another one where the pairing really elevated the wine quite a bit for me. Caravina is always a bit young (even with this age - it's a very ageable wine) and a bit less refined and more primary in style. All dark fruits and spices. But when paired with the pork that had a really nice balancing effect.
