December 26, 2007 - Beautiful clear dark honey coloured. Caramel, potpourri and orange zest ton the nose. The taste is still great; although nose is better. The wine thin of structure (not fat anymore) but it delivers great flavours of burnt nuts, almond, crème brulee and dried fruits like apricot and raisins.
Really an exciting experience.scoring with taking age into account -

February 3, 2007 - Y2 day in the Librije, Zwolle, Netherlands. (Yquem tasting) (De Librije, Zwolle, Netherlands.): Light amber colour.
This wine is surprisingly pure for its age. In the start a slightly oxidised scent (which disappears within seconds) in the nose, but after that caramel, orange peel and polish wax. Light bitterness and drying on the palate. Caramel again and very ripe pineapple. Hardly any sweetness left and a good amount of acidity. A long aftertaste with butter-candy. Impressive!!!
