December 14, 2019 - still alive with good color, fair amount of sediment. top shoulder fill so possibly not stored great over the years. reminded me of some older right bank wines I've had. wouldn't buy again for the price, but fun to try

November 8, 2017 - This needed some air but showed much denser than the last bottle. The fruit was very rich after this opened up. Classically styled.

August 5, 2017 - Lean and pretty. Very even. Nicely alive but not as complex as I was hoping for. It has certainly aged gracefully.

    December 11, 2014 - from a 375 bottle
    decanted 30 min
drk red color, ruby red edge; black berry and mocha coffee nose; well balanced berry fruit, full body; great mid palate feel, very young tasting; body balanced, lively crisp finish; so, technically very good wine; scored lower because not much merlot character- too anonymous as to terrior/varietal but an above average CA red wine to drink now for fruit or 10 yrs for complexity

May 14, 2014 - This was the last of seven bottles from a six liter bottle that started seeping about three months ago. This last two weeks offered me the opportunity to taste one of my favorite merlots of all time. Nose of cinnamon, ripe red cherry fruit, dusty earth on a hot summer day, brilliant, beet red color, touch of Starbuck's Zambia Peaberry, more of the same on the palate, medium body, easy to enjoy, very tasty and supple, long, long earthy finish. 4 photos uploaded of six liter wooden box-don't build them like the old days.
