  February 14, 2010 - Brick color, reminiscent of Barolo though not quite so striking. None of the intense purple you get from the Left Bank or from a great Chateau. Very clearly a lighter style of wine.
  
  Very spicy and perfumed nose. A little touch of yeastiness. Still some tannins, though fading and nicely integrated. Not a fruit-heavy wine, more of an old-style Bordeaux with a focus on “elegance.” Not quite as nice as the '02 Laujac poured last week. Fully mature. Nice wine, good value.

  this is not an exuberant nose, some sour cherries, a little spicyness, some herbs like rosemary, very old world, not bad; very fresh on the palate, lether and tobacco, elegant, with lively acidity, a little green and tart; medium and crisp finish; all in all not bad. Good food wine.

  August 25, 2007 - Dark red. Thick, red fruit, bloody, flat. Not my cup of tea. My wife liked it more.
