February 4, 2022 - Nose of fresh-cut yellow delicious apple.
Palate of ginger and Jewish apple cake that then morphs quickly into honey lemon cough drops. More oxidized than expected. The acidity is still there, but i’m missing the citrus punch. I’m sure others may rate this higher because as a wine it’s good - but the flavors just aren’t my cup of tea.

November 16, 2020 - Wow - perfectly cellared (from Massican), it was mind-bending to realize how youthful this shows at 9 years of age! I look forward to seeing where it is at in a few more years.

April 21, 2017 - One of my favorite Cal. SB's. Lots of bright citrus notes, apricot and light floral notes.

July 15, 2013 - Love it. A little grapefruit, a lot of lemon and wonderful minerality running through it. Long, lingering, mouth-watering finish. Would definitely seek out any of the Massican wines if you haven't tried them.

February 21, 2013 - Aromas of lemon, peach, white florals, almond skins and saline minerals wafted up from the glass in a beautiful bouquet. Almost a year in the cellar has softened the palate slightly, making the nectarine and orange peel notes a tad sweeter yet, this wine's zesty acidity, keeps it perfectly balance. The finish leaves citrus and mineral notes lingering long on the palate.
