Community Tasting Notes 1

May 5, 2012 - This is really delicious. A friend recieved a bottle directly from the winery, and was generous enough to share it. The color is very much more magenta than most Rose's. It is hard to make words describe how much the nose, and everything else, is more intense and concentrated than any rose I have ever tried. They say the grapes are Sangiovese and Syrah, and it is easy to pick out the black cherry that most likely comes from the Sangiovese. I'm sure this is bleed wine, but it tastes almost like drain wine. Super cranberry and red raspberry fruit. Maybe even a little tannin. Very nice job with the acid. Super long raspberry and strawberry finish. This is one of those wines that makes you want to take another sip.
