May 12, 2020 - First bottle of case stored since purchase on release. In contrast to P LeSec's C du Pape Marquis, has held up well and still has plenty of tannins and good fruit: a robust companion to rare rump steak. Will drink rest of case over next year or so

November 30, 2018 - A hard truth about aging wines to achieve a hoped for improvement to a peak in quality is that you can and will sometimes lose this bet. This carefully stored 2003 Chateauneuf originally with a 95 point score is an empty shell of what it should be, with a turgid brown color, dissipated fruit, and unenjoyable taste, that never got better over 5 days of failed chances to recover.
