December 18, 2019 - This was a home-run with homemade pasta and mushrooms. Tannins resolved, bricking, cherry, balsam, earth and a smidge of rose petal. Excellent!

December 16, 2016 - Wow! Magnificent, well aged and great body. A nose of cedars of Lebanon, dark cherry, spice, smoke and mocha. Very opaque and finished with bracing acidity. Served with linguine topped with a Tuscan style meat sauce. Great wine at the peak of its life.
