June 27, 2020 - Definitely Burgundian in style. Tart cherry, hints of balsamic and earth. Light integrated tannins, fairly strong acidity. This has aged well.

September 10, 2016 - What an awesome wine. As we predicted it has improved. The strawberry has turned to cherry. Beautiful ruby red color with wonderful black cherry, vanilla, red currants and gooseberry notes. Acidity is wonderful at this point. We have been drinking this wine for years and I think this is the best it has tasted to this point. Maybe it has peeked but certainly it is drinking very well. If you have been patient and cellared some of this, give it a try. Beyond a doubt one of the best MRV Pinots.

August 16, 2012 - Great wine. One of the best Pinot Noir's that have been made at Maple Ridge. I would expect this wine to cellar for some time and should be great for many years to come.

June 8, 2012 - Had this wine with pizza. WOW what a fantastic wine. Probably one of the best Pinot Noir's from M/R for some time. Acids and tanins are soft and this is a very well balanced wine. Hints of Strawberry and a little cherry maybe a little spiciness. I look forward to this wine now and in the future.
