December 21, 2014 - Pleasantly surprised with this bottle. Very nice bouquet, loaded with dark fruits, cherry, blueberry. Some coffee and leather as well. Finish was nice and long with a nice amount of acid. Bottle lasted through out the entire meal and got even better with more air. Was labeled as an Arizona wine. Nice job MJK!

July 18, 2014 - Wow. Did not expect this from Arizona. Big wine, lots going on. Will buy again.

November 17, 2013 - Note from night 2: Soft, dark berry aromas on the nose with nuanced tobacco, vanilla and raisin. Something about it makes me think of pine cones and spruce tips. Ripe and slightly sappy on the palate, gently coating with velvety tannins, tingling acidity and ripe, dark fruit flavors with a slight earthiness. Delicious by itself, and great with food. This is my favorite vintage of this wine. I was expecting a bigger wine with more noticeable heat, but is surprisingly elegant and drinking well right now, although it would easily handle 5+ years cellar time.

November 16, 2013 - Fleshy and ripe, supple and polished, with ample spice infused into the core of crushed plum, blueberry and raspberry fruit. Displays muscle and perfume on the finish.

September 15, 2013 - Enjoyable nose, rich flavor, heavy tannin. Really enjoyed and would look for more.
