October 28, 2020 - This wine is all about value for money. It is a very well made, enjoyable and easy-drinking claret but at a fraction of the price of most good Bordeaux. I've tried several vintages and this was the best so far - probably because it had longer in the bottle. At £14-15 on the table can't go wrong. BBR sometimes use it for their house Good Ordinary Claret which says it all.

July 12, 2017 - Very nice first impression. The smell was superb and strong, with lots of berry scent. Nice roots and rather pale and ruby colour. The taste is good and has lots of black berries and sour taste. Roundness could be better, needs more years to be ready. Over all a very good palette of excellence!

October 17, 2015 - very pale colour, looks old
    leafy nose with toasty oak
    Grippy and refreshing, delicate fruit
Shame it's masked by some rather lavish oak
What a shame! This could have been a perfect old school claret
    £15 Morrisons

November 23, 2014 - Rather light little claret. Good acids but not much structure. Good with food, time may do good...
