September 1, 2019 - Wow - my last bottle of this, and we timed it beautifully by chance. On pop-and-pour it still had some tannin so we decanted for about an hour. Elegantly integrated in every way. Drink now.

February 5, 2018 - Had to find a bottle to make up for the two “past their prime” 2004’s, so I dig out another 2004... to be fair, CellarTracker told me I had to. This 2004 from my “home winery” is drinking beautifully. Probably not going to get any better at this point. No tannin, and an earthy nose, it’s starting to lose its fruit, but at this moment, I’m enjoying this 2004, fourteen years after its vintage date, and not yet “over the hill”.
