May 13, 2017 - Definitely some funk on the open. Wasnt good - some barnyard, some bitterness, short and curtailed. 2 hours later and the wine is settling down and importantly softening up. The acidity is in check and there is still a good amount of tannin in here. Color is good, dark red with some rim variation. Not a lot of length nor complexity. Some cherry, raspberry, red fruits and a hint of strawberry. Overall not one of the better bottles I have had from this producer.

June 22, 2013 - Way acidic, some fruit and weight came out on day two, but not enough to ever really make this a happy experience. Meh.

November 23, 2006 - Initially a very pretty, sweet nose with red fruits and mild spices. Really compact palate - great purity but all structure past the front. Really delicious with Thanksgiving dinner, though less charming at this stage on its own and seemed to harden up in the glass.
