August 20, 2015 - Although not a petit verdot drinker by itself, I found this to be enjoyable. It poured nice and dark like a cab, with dark fruit, forest earth and a little vanilla from the oak on the nose and palate. I think it's hard to find a balanced petit verdot and few have experience drinking it, but it's a different way to taste a robust, earthy red.
