November 25, 2022 - a:
nose: red fruits, dried strawberry, jam
palate:
immediately on opening: very high acidity; light tannins on the front palate which are quite sour; red fruits, sour cherry. hint of violet on the back palate
day 2: much reduced acidity and the tannins mostly dissippated; mostly black fruits now with black currant dominating. More enjoyable -

November 18, 2022 - Still pretty youthful; some greeness that I've found in other 2011's from the Medoc, which may or may not disappear over time. But good to drink and good value from Majestic. Should keep for quite a while and improve a bit too. Softer on night 2; Dead on night 3

January 18, 2017 - Good value Bordeaux - firm and tannic structure that softened a bit with an hour or so in glass. Nose of cassis, black cherry, and oak. Bit of tarragon and green pepper along with baked earth. A respectable cab that smells hotter than the palate shows. Nothing special, but plenty enjoyable.
