October 13, 2019 - The wonder of a solid, aged Bordeaux or a similar style California Cabernet (before the over ripe craze) is the way it works with a rare steak. Complex yet supple and savory, the marriage of the two is magical meal. This is such a Bordeaux, not great but more than solid. I finished the meal before the bottle but the comfort food effect is wonderful. This is a solid, aged Pauillac in its prime. Also my last bottle, but it would a gone a year or two more.

March 18, 2019 - Mouth-filling inky Pauillac coming into its drinking window. Soft, balanced with good freshness and smack of menthol. Great value second wine.

March 18, 2018 - Okay, I went to the cellar looking for something to have with a rare New York and this appealed to me. It worked so nicely, had to not drink it all myself. Developed and complex, with a strong smoothness of an iron fist in a velvet glove. Lovely Bordeaux.

May 12, 2017 - Dark berries and fruit, complex and warm with some acidity. Overall a very good wine
