January 11, 2017 - Slightly cloudy, cherry colour, orange rim that is non-moving
Clean, full intensity, with aromas of dustiness, peach, light cranberry, a slight mustiness (to be expected), leather and old crates.
Dry, light body, light acidity, light tannins, light alcohol, with further tastes of apricots, chocolate, apples, dates, and cigar box. Still a beautiful finish. This was a real treasure to drink as it was the only wine of its day that was pasteurised with a patented machine made by the winemaker. It was the only year this machine was ever used at the winery.

July 11, 2015 - Big Blind old Bordeaux Tasting at Dado (Düsseldorf) 29th March 2014

in the nose cedar wood, cigar box, moss, more like a burgaundy than Bx, very elegant, some red berry fruit in the finish, noticeable acidity, in a good drinking stage,

March 21, 2013 - Ripe brick color, I guessed it is a wine out of the 60s from a good Chateau and a mediocre vintage. Mushroom-tobacco nose with hints of berries. Taste of acidity but still some fruit left. Surprisingly fresh for 95 Years of age.
