March 18, 2014 - Having this with truffle risotto at the moment. No decant shows elegant rose and cherries. Really quite lovely.
After about 15 min in the glass the pizza came out. Pepperoni, sausage, and prosciutto bring out what tannins are left. The tomato sauce adds a little power to the fruit.
All in all really good. Should pair well with a variety of dishes. -

May 5, 2012 - Had at a food pairing on a cruise ship with filetto mignon rustico. Excellent smooth nose and finish. Don't know cost.
