  April 17, 2018 - Torn about how to score this one. After a really lovely nose, the fruit was tart to the point of sour. Mellowed out a little after some air time, but still not very enjoyable on its own. But we paired it with a cheese ravioli and the acidity was brilliant and enhanced the rich sauce. Color is very brickish, so maybe this is on the very downward side of prime.

  March 5, 2015 - Wonderful nose upon opening and pouring. Rich jammy taste at first sip that became "sour" as the bottle was consumed. Just OK by the time it was finished

  February 9, 2014 - This is a powerful and sophisticated zin. Must be opened hours prior to consumption but well worth the result. Deep bramble nose. Berry pie no doubt. Semi viscous entry with dark berry reduction on fore and mid palate. Finish is wonderful. What a great wine. Enjoyed with a Spanish beef dish but this wine stands out all by its own. Enjoy this now. It is wonderful. Deep dish berry pie with a hint of pepper. I only have one left :(
