February 21, 2013 - purple color with nice nose. a bit too tannic for me, but I can see the appeal.

November 21, 2012 - Not bad, not great. It has a musty flavor, but in a good way. High alcohol but is smooth and has a good finish/aftertaste. A nice wine.

September 21, 2012 - Bottle Wars: New World vs. Old World (Flemings Steakhouse, The Domain, Austin TX): It's been a while since I've had this wine. I have shied away from many of the less expensive Australian reds in recent times, as I have found them to be way over the top sugary fruit bombs. Surprisingly this was actually pretty good, although given it's very earthy flavor profile, I mistaked it for a Bordeaux. Medium bodied, earthy with aromas of musty leaves, and tobacco showing red cherry, dark berry, coffee, and choclate on the palate. Good finish. Went well with medium rare lamb chop appetizers.
