March 30, 2022 - minty nose but a little green, still got some sweet fruit, elegant and smooth but not so lively anymore. Almost 2 hours later this opened up and was showing much better.

June 14, 2014 - Casual (Mostly) Italian Wine Dinner with Friends (Paris Club - Chicago IL): Open approx 30 minutes before serving. A big step vs it's 1994 version in the next glass. This was very fresh for its 30+ yo age, with good combination of black fruit and mushroom notes, all with modest spice throughout nose and palate. Held up through the entire dinner.

January 25, 2014 - Occasional dinner group; Mature and classical Bordeaux (@ WB): The bouquet is not very expressive but shows some red berries and autumn forest. On the palate juicy red fruits, earth, mushrooms, coffee, a touch of sweetness nicely balanced by good acidity and soft and integrated tannin. Beautiful, complex and mature wine which still has good freshness. Will stay on this level for some years. Beautiful!
