January 3, 2024 - Did not expect much and this was a beauty. A wedding year wine for us. Aromatic and nice. Nearing its finish.

August 2, 2021 - Definitely aging, but still an elegant wine with incredible staying power. Drink it now if it’s still around.

May 26, 2014 - I have had this wine on two separate occassions and it was great both times. Exactly what you'd expect from a 25 year old Napa Merlot; wonderful notes of cocoa, graphite, clove, and black cherry, along with wonderful secondary aromas of cedar and vanilla. Honestly, each bottle had a few more years left, at least.

November 28, 2013 - Bought this at the winery 10/2013. Gorgeous. Quite light on its feet, with notes of cherry / berry dominating the palate. Old school style, without the gobs of oak that seem to be more prevalent with modern merlot. Really a treat. I enjoy it even more than the score, for what it is and how it's drinking today.
