  September 27, 2014 - Blackberry, currant, hint of root beer. Fine, soft tannins, decent acidity, nice concentration. I like this wine a lot, excellent value.

  September 26, 2014 - Okay this time with food and served a little cooler than you might normally served Bdx blends. Nothing impressive today but only the high ABV on the nose is the only noticeable bad thing when it warms other than being a little disjointed.

  September 19, 2014 - Finally this wine seems to be coming around as it was the first bottle that wasn't a hot heap of alcohol and fruit. Things have really calmed down to make this a very enjoyable table wine with a very bordeaux-like quality. Bourgeois, but great qpr. Its hard to believe that '08 is taking so long to get in the prime drinking window, but I find this consistent with many producers and many reds from WA state. enjoyed with antipasto, then on to baked ziti, Italian sausages and salad with the in-laws. Much Pumpkin beer was also involved but this bottle was p'n p first with some dread by me, but I was pleasantly surprised.
