October 2, 2023 - Drinking nicely. Exceptional value.

June 26, 2023 - Popped and poured. Last bottle of Davenport. No way I would guess this wine is 15 years old. Still fresh. Medium ruby color with slight browning at edge. Round juicy red berry fruit. Violets and rose. Floral. Medium acid provides excellent balance. This is my best bottle of this yet. I should have bought more when they were closing it out at 60% off. Some dust. Very nice.

May 4, 2023 - Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Still drinking great. Dark ruby color. Almost no browning near the edge. Savory black current fruit. Sweet. Drying notes on the mid palate. Nice spice. Nice lift on the finish. A solid wine and one of the best all time QPRs in Washington State.

    March 9, 2022 - Last bottle of 08

Served high 50’s F, decanted one hour

Probably at or just past its peak, colour still holding red with no perceptible browning. Tannins nicely interwoven, almost juicy. Only caveat is a touch of heat on finish.

December 24, 2021 - Day 1: Decanted 2 hours. Very nice wine featuring cherry, spices, floral, earth, wood and minerals. One of the best values to date as this was under $15.00. Cost 6 times that or more if it was Napa Valley. 93 points
Day 2: Late entry into my top 10 of the year. This is amazing. Fruit featuring Bing Cherries, blueberries and plum. Spice, floral, minerals and tobacco. Super complex wine and long finish. A true gem. 94 points
Day 3: Still great and left the cork off all night. Should go through 2030. Blueberries, Bing Cherries, spice, floral, minerals and tobacco.
Recommendation: Message me and sell me the rest of your stash!
