Community Tasting Notes 4

July 1, 2007 - Smooth and silky; tart cherry fruit with hints of smoke and cedar; delicious; a great accompanient to Yukon river king salmon

November 30, 2006 - This wine was very lackluster yesterday evening. It might be going through a dumb period. The nose was medium in size with scents of blackberries and cherries. The taste was of medium concentration with reflections of blackberries and cherries. The wine lacked complexity. This experience was very different from when I last tasted it a year ago.

November 23, 2005 - This Savoy Vineyard wine is delicious and intense. The nose is filled with scents of dark berries and plums. The taste is very balanced with soft tannins and some acid but loads of tasty black berries, plums and an earthy background. The wine should develop nicely over the next five years or more.

November 20, 2005 - A bright bowl of cherries with clean crisp acidity and cedar wood. This is a pure and focussed pinot noir with light to medium body. The wine just keeps putting out through the finish. Superb.
