May 20, 2012 - Hillcrest have done really well with their 2010 Chardonnays, and this Village was great drinking for the money. Still a very young wine, with slightly sweet oak notes up front. Good weight and fruit concentration at only 12% alc. Perhaps needs another year or so to come together further, then good drinking for another five.
