November 6, 2017 - Calcareous consistently produces solid offerings, and this one is no exception. The wine holds up well, wonderful mouth feel, perfectly ripe bing cherries, just the right amount of tartness and a pleasing finish with ever so subtle teak in the background.

June 4, 2013 - Not a big Pinot Noir fan, so that may have impacted the Rating. However, it was very enjoyable for a light bodied wine. May be the best Pinot we have ever had, but still not close to Calcareous Syrah, Grenache, or Meritage.

May 27, 2013 - Big beefy Pinot, very different from many Cali Pinots I've had. Interesting herbs or sage on the nose, medium-dark fruit rather than light and airy fruit. A delicious wine from Calcareous, as always.
