  June 19, 2016 - This is the wine that got us into drinking "better" reds. This 2008 blend was still holding up well. No rust color or raisin nose. Lots of structure and fruit. We love this wine in this vintage and will miss it.

  January 16, 2016 - Tastes like a Zinfandel-heavy blend. Nice structure, good balance. Plummy, ripe fruits. Lots of nutmeg and spice. Good blend! Drinking very well, but I imagine will last a while yet.

  November 27, 2013 - A solid effort and a decent QPR from Napa's favorite (and only) castle. Medium bodied, with good, upfront fruit, light oak and soft tannins, this is an easy drinker that should generally please the crowd but won't turn many heads in the process.
