March 31, 2024 - Tasted alongside some beautiful bottles ranging from 1973 to 2008, and yet this personally stole the show for its fascinating aromatics.
The nose at this stage was remarkably fresh, and strangely skewing towards classic Sauvignon blanc notes, with plentiful goose berries, cucumber, tangerine rind, and some pleasant cheese notes. Beneath this, a layer of classic Sangiovese sour cherry and tomato leaf.
Delicious palate with time-tempered structure making for a rare expression of Vino Nobile. -
