  September 5, 2018 - This, my last bottle, is far superior to the one I opened three years ago. I held off opening thinking it had gone off the deep end. But I'm pleased to say that nothing of the sort happened; it's drinking very nicely. Still has soft but noticeable tannins, good fruit and acidity.

  February 3, 2018 - Opaque with purple bubbles. Fruity aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and black plum. Enters the mouth with bright acidity, firm tannin, a streak of astringency, and a faint green vegetable taste. Dense but not very lush. Overall, drinkable but not as enjoyably delicious as past vintages.

  December 24, 2016 - Update: -2 points. Graphite aroma was faint and didn't real add depth to the black current, violet, & cedar aromas & flavors. smooth, w/ fine;y woven tannins. Some acidity drives spicy finish.
