May 13, 2023 - Wonderful wine. Drinking very well right from the first pour. It did put on a little weight as it sat in the decanter. Silky tannins, great nose, long finish.
Cork disintegrated trying to open the bottle but the wine is wonderful. Purchased on release from winery and stored in climate controlled facilities.

February 14, 2022 - Disappointed to see signs of seepage after cutting the capsule, but happy to report that this exceeded expectations. First sip PnP revealed the overwhelming acidity that #GEAUX TIGERS mentioned. Decided to double decant and it quickly mellowed out. After an hour in the glass afterwards, it was loaded with mountain dark fruit, silt, violets, hints of cigar box, and a endless finish. Better than my last bottle and if stored well should have another decade or more of life with that initial acidity.

September 30, 2021 - Decanted 60 min, nose of plum and freshly cut blackberry, can’t wait. First glass, sour grapes, literally sour grape juice. WTF? More decanter time did not rescue this mess. Such a f’ing disappointment, don’t know if the bottle is bad, the lunar calendar got me or both!

    January 15, 2021 - 3 hour decant

Aromas of vanilla, spice, dark and plush blackberry, and toasted oak. Velvety, layered and deep body with nice verve and a solid finish.

Probably in early days of drinking window with moderate upside from here. Nice Cali cab

April 25, 2020 - very good wine and ready to drink however lacked some of that normal HM Mountain Fruit and Structure -- almost more like Silver Oak Style
