  November 18, 2020 - Amazing this wine has held up so well given its age. Classic old Chardonnay ... dark yellow color, caramel notes, etc.

  November 24, 2016 - Ryan IMO is one of the best in California when doing chardonnay. Great stuff. The use of oak is integrated so well that it add depth and elevated the fruit.

  March 8, 2015 - Honestly this is pretty similar to my last bottle 2.5 years ago, expect that the oak I worried about is far less noticeable (and for my own clarification, I never thought the wine oaky, just more oak than I'm used to from Ryan). Anyway, this may be coming into its own, but I'm in no hurry to drink more.

  October 18, 2013 - CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): Nice clean nose of green apple, lemon curd, and a hint of spice. On the palate, apples, meyer lemon, bit of toasty oak peeks through. Crisp finish. Need a little more time for the oak to integrate but overall a tasty package.
