June 19, 2023 - My last bottle, and drinking well though certainly not fully mature and no hurry.

March 7, 2019 - Although pleasant to drink, this wine hasn't completely come together the way many 2011s have. It is ripe and young with incipient peach, a creamy texture, and a fair amount of sweetness, plus some herbal elements. Because it is still so young-tasting, there is the possibility of further positive development, but I doubt that crispness will ever appear. 9.0% stated alcohol. APN 14-12. Cellared since original release.

July 16, 2018 - Pretty wine, but on the sweet side with not enough acidity and precision to focus it. Quaffable in a applejuicy kind of way but not great.

June 9, 2017 - 2011 will never become one of my preferred vintages. Even here very brought with lots of acacia honey which over performed the other, deeper layers of aromas a bit. You can only divine the typical Grünhaus herbs and tangerine. More like a sweet Spätlese on the palate with a bright mouthfeel. Lovely to drink right now. I'm curious to see how this will evolve over time.
